In April, the RAI launched the Future of Regional Jobs paper at our Regions Rising National Summit in Canberra. Jobs are changing, and we want to share our research with WA. We use our evidence-based research to present the facts, we bring key regional stakeholders together, and we work to change the narrative of regional Australia.
Regional Economic Diversification and Jobs in WA
Regions Rising WA is part of the Regional Australia Institute’s (RAI’s) ground breaking national roadshow for 2019.
The West Australian Premier, the Hon Mark McGowan, set out a clear plan for Regional Prosperity in early 2019, including a target of 30,000 new jobs. The RAI’s foundational work can help support this target to better understand the future employment trends facing regional economies.
